On a winter night in 2021, in the back of a taxi on Rue Saint-Honoré, our founder couldn't find her hotel key. The bag was beautiful. Inside, it was a cave.

Lumina began as a private commission. A watch engineer, a leather artisan, and a lighting designer asked themselves a simple question: what if the inside of a handbag could be as considered as the outside?
Three years and forty-seven prototypes later, the answer is small enough to disappear into a clutch — and refined enough to be mistaken for jewelry.
"We didn't want a gadget. We wanted an heirloom that happens to glow."
Each Lumina is assembled by hand in our atelier in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. The metal shells are forged in the Jura, the optics polished outside Geneva, the leather charging pouches stitched by saddlers in Florence.
We make few, slowly. Numbered, signed, and serviced for life.
